In a case where you get to switch on your computer and you notice it fails to power on what should you do? In this case there are two things should do first to accertain what the problem is exactly.
1. Ensure that the power switch/ source is working ans supplies power as expected
2. Check and ensure that the power cable is well fixed to the power source
3. Then ensure that the power cable itself is a good one i.e ensure you use a working power cable
After you must fulfilled the above requirements and you are sure you have satisfied all, then check your power pack. Which may actually be the faulty part. Get a working compatible power pack. Fiex this to the system board and then switch on the system. All things being equal, the system should come on.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ON SYSTEM ISSUES
I am sure you must have been following my past posts, if that is the case then you are good to go. i mean you are on your way to becoming a good system engineer.Any waygreat things starts small they say, my friend, do you know you are on your way to greatness, if and only if you could follow simple and easy steps as i will outline to you in my posts on this blog. As you do this there shall not be a single computer fault you can not solve either for yourself or friend or for your business. I want you to know that there are certain things needed for you to thrive in the field, as no farmer dare goes to the farm without his farming implements, so there are a couple of things needed, these include the following
1. Sets of screw drivers.
2. Plier, long nose e.t.c
3. Most omportantly you woyuld need some softwares e.g Bootable CD
By this i mean opertaing sytems ranging from windows 2000, windows xp professional SP1,SP2, sp3 e.t.c and any other good operating system available.
Pls Give me a call if you are stranded

COMPUTER PARTS
In this lesson am going to show you the various parts that makes up the computer system. It is important for you to note that the computer parts are categorized under either of the follopwing
1. Input Unit: These are the parts through which the user can make input into the system.
2. Output Unit: These are the parts through which the computer makes the user see the processed data.
3. Processing Unit: These are the parts responsible for the various logic and arithmetic operations which could include calculations and any other operation necessary to determine the outcome of data inputed.
4. Pheripherial unit: This consists of other parts added whose addition or non addition is not require for the operation of the system
The parts include the following:
1. Motherboard/Main Board/System Board.
2. Memory: Secondary or Primary
3. HArd Disk Drive
4. CD Rom Drive
5. Diskette Drive
6.Power Pack
7.Processor

KNOW YOUR COMPUITER LIKE YOUR FINGER
Do you know that you can become a computer engr even without going to a computer school. HOW? You may ask. Anyway that is the essence of this blog. I am here to lead you hand in hand into knowing all you should about your computer.
To start with, the computer is made up of two fundamental parts namely:
1. Hardware
2. Software.
Hardware: These are the physical parts of the system that can be seen, felt and touched.Mostly these parts are driven by the software, as the system can not recognize a ny part attached to it except the software that can enable this recognition is installed. Examples of hardware include the hard disk, Cd Rom dive, key board, mouse e.t.c
Software: These are computer instructions/codes/programmes written to help the hardware communicates. In addition to these they help achieve one purpose or the other as may be determined by the programmer in response to a paritcular need.
Softwares are divided into tow, namely. system software and application software.
