To start with, the computer is made up of two fundamental parts namely:
1. Hardware
2. Software.
Hardware: These are the physical parts of the system that can be seen, felt and touched.Mostly these parts are driven by the software, as the system can not recognize a ny part attached to it except the software that can enable this recognition is installed. Examples of hardware include the hard disk, Cd Rom dive, key board, mouse e.t.c
Software: These are computer instructions/codes/programmes written to help the hardware communicates. In addition to these they help achieve one purpose or the other as may be determined by the programmer in response to a paritcular need.
Softwares are divided into tow, namely. system software and application software.
